Toddler taken to hospital after being bitten on ear by German Shepherd in Chapman Way, East Malling

A toddler was taken to hospital after being bitten by a German Shepherd.

The two-year-old boy was injured in Chapman Way, East Malling when passing by the dog and its owner.

Anyone with information should contact the police

The tot’s parent was given consent for the child to stroke the dog – believed to be a German Shepherd – when it bit the boy on his left ear.

The owner, described to be in his late teens with a slim build, standing around 5’7”, and wearing a blue tracksuit, was said to have left the scene after the attack which happened at around 3.20pm on April 27.

The young boy was taken to hospital to receive medical attention.

Police are asking for those with any information about the attack to call on 01622 604100, quoting reference 46/75423/23.
