EastEnders star and investigative journalist Ross Kemp is set to cut the ribbon at the opening of the GO Outdoors superstore in Tonbridge later this month.

The author and BAFTA award winner will open the doors of the new site and meet fans on Saturday, September 30, at 9am.

A day of family fun and adventure will include face painting, balloon modelling and a bouncy castle.

Ross Kemp will open the new GO Outdoor store in Tonbridge later this month.

The first 200 families through the doors will receive a complimentary £20 gift voucher to spend in store and everyone is eligible for a 15 % off discount throughout Saturday and Sunday.

The children’s activities will continue into Sunday for those that can’t make Saturday.

Ross Kemp said: “I am honoured to be part of the exciting opening of the Tonbridge GO Outdoors store and I look forward to meeting the community on Saturday. For me, encouraging the public to get outdoors is really important.

“There is a big world out there with endless adventures to be had, a little encouragement and the right kit is all you need to explore.

“GO Outdoors has equipped me on many of my own adventures, of which I’ll share some stories at the launch.”
