A two car collision happened on the M26 this morning.

The accident happened close to junction 2 on the M26, heading towards the M25.

Kent Police were called at 8.37am and when they arrived one of the cars, a Volkswagen Touran, was laying on its roof in the central reservation.

The second vehicle, a Toyota Rav 4, was on its side.

Both lanes remained blocked until 9.10am.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service were called but their services were not needed as all people involved were safely out of the vehicles when a crew arrived.
