RSPCA staff in Leybourne can't understand where an adorable dog isn't being picked up.

Two-year-old Trigger was found abandoned with a fractured leg last year and would go on to spend seven months in an RSPCA hospital.

Vets had to amputate his front leg, but apart from that the lurcher is well on his way to recovering.

Visitors to RSPCA Leybourne might recognise Trigger, he's become a firm fixture of the reception area alongside staff.

Animal care assistant at Leybourne Claire Yorke said: "We have all fallen head over heels for Trigger, he is such a character.

"He often joins us out on reception as he is such good company and loves spending time with people - his filing isn’t bad either.

"He’s got a lovely nature as well and is very calm - he loves to sit and watch the world go by.

"He’s also great at travelling in vehicles and he does have a playful side too.

"Unfortunately since he has been with us he has been overlooked time and again while his kennel mates have found new homes, we can’t understand why - there must be someone out there who can offer him a loving home."

Trigger would be best suited as the only dog in the home.

He continues to recover and would be best suited to an adult only home.

If you think you can offer Trigger a home call Leybourne RSPCA on 0300 123 0751.
