A workshop in Aylesford had to be evacuated following a fire.

The blaze, which involved an acetylene gas cylinder, started at 8.35am today in Coldharbour Lane.

Two crews set up a cordon a safe distance away from the workshop while they monitored the cylinder, after the initial fire had been extinguished.

They left the scene shortly after 11am.
