A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital after a crash in Cuxton.

The victim is reported to have suffered leg and back pain after colliding with a van on Sundridge Hill.

It happened around 7.50am today.

The motorcyclist was taken to Medway Maritime Hospital for treatment.

The road was completely blocked and traffic was following an unofficial diversion down some of the local routes, but there were reports of lorries and larger vehicles finding it difficult.

A spokesman for Kent Police said: “The roundabout at the junction with Halling Primary School was closed and reopened by 9.05am.”
