Rush hour traffic was affected by a crash on a main road through Chatham.

Police were called at 6.23am to a crash involving two vehicles on Maidstone Road.

The road was blocked between Southill Road and Gladstone Road due to an accident near the cemetery.

It was cleared and fully opened at 8.48pm and no serious injuries were reported.
