Police and air ambulance spotted in Isle of Grain

Police have launched an investigation after a large emergency service response to a house in a remote village.

A forensic investigation vehicle, police cars and ambulances were seen parked outside a home in Chapel Road, Grain while the air ambulance had also landed nearby.

Police confirmed they were called to a report of a medical incident at 10.10am.

Four ambulances also attended and the air ambulance helicopter landed in a nearby field off Grain Road.

An eyewitness, who asked not to be named, said: "As I came into the village a police car was escorting an ambulance out, blue lights were flashing.

"Then as I came down the road I saw three ambulances and police cars.""Rumours round the village say it was a domestic incident but I'm not sure. "It seemed like there was multiple casualties.

Irene Procommenos, of Chapel Road, said: "There was a couple of police cars, a car ambulance and an ambulance

"It seemed more urgent than a normal accident."
