Police appeal after woman injured in crash in Maidstone Road, Chatham

Police are continuing to investigate a crash involving one of its patrol cars on blue flashing lights.

A woman in a Black Audi A1 was injured in the smash, which happened in Chatham yesterday.

The police car was responding to an emergency when it was involved in a collision on Maidstone Road, at the junction with Southill Road, at 11.52am.

Paramedics were called to treat the occupants of the Audi, which included a woman, but no serious injuries were reported.

But the incident is still being investigated by the Serious Collision Investigation Unit and police are appealing for witnesses.
