An armed raid was reported at a convenience store late last night.

A robber burst into the One Stop on the corner of Magpie Hall Road and Shipwrights Avenue at around 8.30pm and threatened a member of staff with a weapon.

Nothing was stolen and staff escaped injury.

Police have been approached for more information.
