A van driver has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after a Chatham man was killed in a crash on the M11 yesterday.
The 40-year-old from Sidcup was questioned and bailed after the three-vehicle smash on the northbound carriageway of the motorway near Stansted.
A 47-year-old man in a Ford Focus was killed in the collision.
The road was shut for more than five hours while emergency crews dealt with the aftermath of the crash, which also involved a VW Golf.
The arrested man, who was also taken to hospital, has been bailed until June 24.
