Fire crews called to two arson attacks in Stoke on the Isle of Grain

Police are investigating a possible link between two fires that happened overnight on the Isle of Grain.

200 bales of straw went up in flames at Mackays Court Farm in Stoke at around 4am this morning - an hour after a Land Rover was torched in nearby Burrows Lane.

Strood watch manager Martin Simmons said both the Land Rover and the entire stock of straw was completely destroyed.

It was thought both fires were started deliberately.

No one was hurt in either incident.
