Police are investigating after a window was smashed in an attempted robbery at a bank.

A window at Rainham's Lloyds TSB, in the High Street, was smashed some time between 5.30pm on Friday, December 11 and 9am this morning (Monday).

The bank has been closed all day while police investigate.

A sign on the bank's entrance says it will remain closed until further notice.
