Body found in Lordswood woods

Police cordoned off woods after a man's body was found.

Nine patrol cars and an ambulance were seen in North Dane Way, Lordswood, Medway this morning.

Karl Groves reported on social media at 6.30am: "Woods all taped off."

Another post suggested a body may have been found.

Police spokesman James Walker confirmed this afternoon: "At around 6.35am the body of a man in his 20s was found in an area of woodland off North Dane Way in Lordswood.

"No suspicious circumstances have been identified and a report will be prepared for the coroner."
