A man has died after falling from a bridge over a leisure park.

The man fell from the coastbound side of the M2 Medway Bridge just after 4.30pm yesterday.

His body was recovered from Medway Valley Leisure Park, which is home to a cinema, bingo hall and multiple restaurants.

Police spokesman James Walker said: "Officers attended the scene alongside crews from the South East Coast Ambulance Service and the man was declared deceased at the scene.

"No suspicious circumstances have been identified and a report will be prepared for the coroner."
