Several female shoppers have 'bottoms touched' in Gillingham High Street

Female shoppers have reported having their bottoms touched in Gillingham.

Several women have claimed they were groped by a man in the High Street, police revealed today.

The attacker is described as black, between 30 and 40, about 6ft with short black hair and an African accent.

Kent Police are keen to speak to anyone who might have witnessed the incidents, reported on August 28, September 4 and October 6.

A 35-year-old man, from Gillingham, has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and bailed until Friday, November 1 pending further inquiries.
