Supermarket florists have been leaving colourful posies around Medway for people to take home.

After a spell of changeable summer holiday weather, Morrisons is hoping the bouquets will help cheer up people in the Towns ahead of the Bank Holiday weekend.

The flowers are being placed in parks, bus stops and shopping areas for passers by to pick up.

Posies have been left around Medway

They are made from multi-coloured germini, which look like big, brightly coloured summer daisies.

The branches in Strood and Princes Park, Chatham, are taking part in the nationwide initiative.
