Boy robbed outside Chatham betting shop

Two men assaulted a teenage boy outside a betting shop and took his mobile phone.

The boy was in Luton Road, Chatham, when he was approached by two men - reported to be of dark European appearance and around 18 or 19 years old.

He was then threatened and assaulted in the attack, which happened between 9pm and 9.37pm on April 22.

He was not seriously injured but his mobile phone was stolen.

Officers have looked at CCTV and spoken to businesses in the area, and are now appealing for witnesses.

They say one of the suspects was wearing jeans and had a bag on his shoulder.
