Boy airlifted to hospital following incident in Carrington Close, Gillingham

A boy was taken to a hospital in London on Saturday night after a collision with a car.

Police were called to Carrington Close, at the junction with Castlemaine Avenue, Gillingham, at 8.22pm.

Police and paramedics from the South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAMB) attended.

Crews were accompanied by the air ambulance service and the 10-year-old was taken to the London hospital where he remains.

The child suffered non-life threatening injuries including an injury to his leg.

The driver of the car stopped following the incident.
