Lower Rainham Road shut for emergency UK Power Networks roadworks

A busy road used by commuters and parents is shut while emergency roadworks take place.

UK Power Networks is carrying out utility repair and maintenance works in Lower Rainham Road in Rainham.

The road is shut between the junctions with Berengrave Lane and Station Road.

The works started on Saturday (February 24) and are expected to be completed by Friday (March 1).

There is a footway closure in place as well as a diversion route for drivers, via Yokosuka Way. The full diversion route can be viewed here.
