A car has crashed into railings in Strood High Street.

The smash happened just before 9am.

A silver Corsa crashed into the railings in front of Tara Baker Hair Studio in the busy High Street.

Nobody was injured and the business has not been affected by the crash.

The car has now been moved.

A police spokesman said: "We were called at 8.50am after a car collided with railings in the High Street, Strood. Police attended and there were no injuries.

"The scene was clear by 10.45am."
