Firefighters from Rochester attended an abandoned car alight last night.

Crews were called at 7:30pm to Yelsted Lane in Boxley.

The car had been abandoned on a farm field.

The Volkswagen Golf was completely destroyed and no one was seen at the scene on their arrival.

Police were not called.
