Assistant manager Keith Levett expects to be at full strength on Saturday as Chatham look to finish the season strongly.

They suffered a 4-0 defeat last time out, at Thamesmead, in Ryman League Division 1 North on Monday.

Levett said: "We have four or five experienced players and I’m sure they would admit they’ve under-performed.

"We’ve brought in good players but haven’t quite been able to get the balance right.

"I want us to finish the season with some wins and I’m looking forward to the Brentwood game.

"They’re not a bad side and they play some football but we’re up for the challenge."

Brentwood visit Maidstone Road for a 3pm kick-off on Saturday, less than a fortnight after the teams shared a goalless draw in Essex.

Hitting the fourth goal for Thamesmead on Monday, from the penalty spot, was Stuart Zanone.

And Levett bemoaned their inability to bring the player to their own club after making an approach while he was at Rochester.

Levett said: "He’d have done for us but money talks and we couldn’t get anywhere near what Thamesmead offered.

"We’ve got a young side because we don’t pay much."
