Jermaine Dixon, 33, was stopped by police in Station Road, Strood in October last year driving a VW car.

Jermaine Dixon has been jailed for possession of drugs (16011828)

Maidstone Crown Court heard that initially nothing was found on the father-of-two but after he was taken to a police station he admitted he had 32 wraps of Class A drugs in his underpants.

The court heard how Dixon, of Thornton Avenue, Croydon was caring for his children who had special needs.

Alan Goh, defending, said he had carried the drugs for £250 reward and asked for him to be give another chance.

Judge Adele Williams told him: "It is a tragedy you concerned yourself in this enterprise."

She said it was too serious not to be met with an immediate jail sentence because "Class A drugs cause havoc in people's lives."
