Gillingham man arrested after £50,000 cash and 'large amount' of drugs seized

Police seized two kilos of cocaine and £50,000 during raids on three properties.

Paul Adams, of Holly Close, Gillingham , has now been charged with possession with intent to supply cocaine and cannabis after the discovery.

The Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate seized the cash, drugs and a large amount of cannabis after executing warrants on three addresses early last Friday.

Business premises in Maritime Way and Gad's Hill were searched along with a property in Holly Close.

Adams, 34, was remanded in custody to appear at Medway Magistrates' Court on October 26.

At the hearing, he was further remanded in custody and will next appear at Maidstone Crown Court on November 23.
