Are you looking for a fun way to get fit and make new friends?

The sports development team at Medway Council is running a series of events to encourage adults to get involved in sport and lead more healthy lives.

The sports are based on fun and participation, so ideal for any level of player and open to all.

A free rounders session will be held at Hillyfields Park, Parr Avenue, Gillingham, tomorrow (Saturday, August 22), 4.30pm to 6.30pm.

Netball sessions will be held every Thursday from 6.30pm to 8pm at Delce Junior School, The Tideway, Rochester, and every Monday from 6.30pm to 7.30pm at St Augustine of Canterbury Primary School, Deanwood Drive, Rainham. The first two sessions are free.

A new group for runners of all abilities is starting in Gillingham on Monday evenings. It is open to runners over 16.

The first four weeks are free. Meet at the main entrance of the Black Lion Leisure Centre, Mill Road, Gillingham at 7pm.

Contact Peter Tickle at peter.tickle@medway.gov.uk or call 01634 338760.
