County lines police arrest suspected Medway drug dealer after search at Chatham house

A suspected county lines drug dealer is due to appear in court.

Police arrested and charged a man in connection with ongoing investigations into drug gangs in Medway following a raid at a house in Chatham.

Mikhail Pereira, of Hillside Court, Rochester, was arrested on April 6 following a search in Alfred Close, Chatham.

The 20-year-old was later charged after officers seized a mobile phone and suspected class A drugs.

Pereira has since been charged with possession of cocaine and crack cocaine with intent to supply.

He has also been charged with being concerned in the supply of heroin, possession of cannabis and possession of criminal property.

He will remain in custody until he appears to face the charges at Maidstone Crown Court on May 5.
