Fire service called to kitchen fire in Brompton Road, Gillingham

Three fire engines were called to deal with a kitchen fire over the weekend.

Crews were called to a commercial property in Brompton Road, Gillingham, at 3.50pm on Sunday, where they found smoke coming from the back of the building.

The fire service were called to Brompton Road in Gillingham on Sunday

Using breathing apparatus, hose reel jets and a high pressure fan the blaze was extinguished and the smoke cleared by 4.35pm.

There were no reported injuries and it is believed the fire was an accident.
