A head-butting thug is being hunted by police after shattering a man's cheekbone in Rochester.

The 34-year-old victim was targeted after using a cashpoint outside Barclays, in the High Street, in the early-hours attack.

He was walking with a woman, in her early to mid-20s also using the ATM, when he was approached by a white man in his 20s wearing a suit who head-butted him to the ground.

The victim suffered cuts, bruises and a suspected fractured cheekbone in the incident, at about 3am on Sunday, July 25.

Anyone with any information is asked to phone Detective Constable Chris Watson on 01634 792 503 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
