Drink driving arrest as woman taken to hospital with serious injuries after crash in North Dane Way, Lordswood

A man has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries following a crash.

Three people were hurt in the collision involving two cars in North Dane Way, Lordswood, Chatham, at around 10.20pm last night.

A woman was taken to a London hospital.

One man who lives nearby said he "heard a loud bang and then saw a sea of blue lights".

A 52-year-old man from Chatham was arrested and remains in custody pending further inquiries.
