Driver due in court after serious crash in Gillingham Road, Gillingham

A man is due in court charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
Dean Foord, 24, of Beatty Avenue, Gillingham, is accused of being responsible for a crash in Gillingham Road on December 16 last year.
Two pedestrians were injured in the incident, including a woman who suffered a broken eye socket in addition to numerous other cuts and bruises.
Mr Foord is also charged with driving without insurance or the correct licence, and driving a motorcycle with defective lights, tyres and brakes.
He will appear before Medway magistrates on Tuesday October 4.
