Man injured in head-on collision with Land Rover

A driver had to be cut free of his mangled car by firefighters after crashing head on with a Land Rover.

Fire crews and paramedics were called after a Seat collided with a Land Rover just after 7.40pm last night.

A driver was cut free after a two-car crash in Lidsing Road, Lidsing, near Gillingham

The badly damaged Seat became trapped in nearby trees in Lidsing Road, Lidsing, near Gillingham.

Firefighters had to cut it out before administering first aid to the driver - a man in his early 20s.

He was taken to hospital with multiple injuries, which were not thought to be life threatening.
