A driver reportedly left the scene after crashing into a railing.

Police received a report at 11.14pm last night of a collision involving a single car in Canterbury Street, Gillingham.

A police spokesman said: “Officers attended and the driver was reported to have left the scene following the incident.

“The vehicle was recovered, and inquiries are ongoing.”
