Rubbish dumped beside a timber yard is believed to have been set alight deliberately.

Firefighters from Strood tackled the small blaze in Knight Road on Sunday at about 7pm.

One pump was at the scene near Morgan Timber yard, where refuse from a garage had been dumped, for about 30 minutes.

There were no injuries or damage to surrounding properties.
