Firefighters were called to a Medway home after a blaze broke out in a kitchen.
Crews were called to the scene in Old Castle Walk, Gillingham, just after 1.35pm today.
They fought the flames in the property's kitchen for more than 40 minutes, before extinguishing the blaze.
A fire service spokesman said: "Crews wearing breathing apparatus used a hose-reel jet to put out the fire and used a fan to ventilate the home."
