A man is in custody after police found this weapon when they stopped a car in Rochester.

The suspect is also being questioned on suspicion of other offences including drug driving, possession of drugs and criminal damage.

Police said the occupants of a vehicle involved in criminal damage had attempted to flee from police before they were eventually stopped.

The other occupants were taken home and dealt with for failing to stay at home during lockdown.
