Firefighters called to Petham Green, Twydall, after smoke seen coming from roof of derelict care home

Firefighters were called to a derelict care home this afternoon after smoke was seen coming from the roof.
Three fire engines attended the fire in the two-storey building in Petham Green, Twydall, shortly after 4.30pm.
Crews in breathing apparatus tackled the fire which was extinguished by 5.15pm.
Firefighters requested the attendance of the police. The fire is believed to be suspicious.
