A firework, which exploded, was thrown at a man from a car in Lincoln Road, Gillingham

A lit firework was thrown at a man from a car, it has been reported.

At 6pm yesterday (Wednesday) a man was walking along Lincoln Road, Gillingham, when a silver Volkswagen Golf came up beside him.

Somebody from the car allegedly threw the firework at the man, and it exploded.

The man did not suffer serious injuries and did not require medical treatment.
