Both suffered minor injuries during the unprovoked attack, but did not need hospital treatment.

The pair, Ross, 30, and Shammy, 34, are the sons of former Bishop Michael Nazir-Ali, who stood down from his post last year after 15 years.

Details of the attack have been passed to a hate crime unit in Medway which will offer support to them and give the brothers updates on the investigation.
