Friends and family of Molly McLaren say they are determined to continue her legacy through a foundation they have set up in her memory.

Speaking after her ex-boyfriend Joshua Stimpson, 26, was jailed for life for her murder, Molly's friend Amelia Davies says her loved ones are trying to move on and remember her in a positive way.

The Molly McLaren Foundation is aimed at raising awareness and offering support to people dealing with mental health issues and eating disorders.

A trial heard Stimpson, from Wouldham, stabbed 23-year-old Molly around 75 times in the car park of the Dockside Outlet in Chatham after their relationship came to an end.

Today, Amelia spoke to KMTV about the work of the foundation, including an upcoming comedy event aimed at raising funds.
