People can travel for free on Arriva buses this weekend.

On Saturday, you can hop on a bus in the Medway zone, including Sapphire 101, Service 155 to Maidstone and Service 190 to Gravesend, and it won’t cost you a penny.

Craig Taylor, marketing manager for Arriva Southern Counties, said: “We thought it would be a nice treat to enable people to get out and about for free for a day.

"Whether you’re enjoying a peaceful day alone, with a loved one or taking the whole family, the journey won’t cost you a penny.”

As well as offering free travel for the day, Arriva has also teamed up with Visit Kent to offer people the chance to win free entry to Rochester Castle for two adults.
