Two friends are facing sentence over the kidnap of a young child.

Mark Dallas, 19, admitted kidnapping the boy and 21-year-old Jason Malloy admitted child abduction.

They were arrested after the child went missing in Chatham on March 7. He was later found safe and well.

The case was heard at Maidstone Crown Court

Dallas, formerly of Otway Street, Chatham, and Malloy, of Albany Road, in Chatham, will be sentenced after the trial in October of Sophie Knowldin, 19, who has denied kidnapping.

Dallas and Malloy appeared by TV link with Elmey Prison, Sheppey. Knowldin, of Leysdown Road, Sheerness, appeared in the dock at court on conditional bail.
