Funeral of man killed after bus collision

Tragic road crash victim Martin Barlow was laid to rest today with more than 200 people attending his funeral.

Friends and family gathered at the Garden of England Crematorium, in Sheppey Way, Bobbing at 1pm this afternoon.

Mr Barlow’s coffin was led by a bagpipe player while the crowd watched on.

The service included live music, a poem from his former girlfriend Daisy McConnell and a tribute by best friends Kate Craib and Ed Collins.

Mourners gathered after the service at the Good Intent in John Street, Rochester, where Martin often drank with his father, Simon Barlow.

Martin was killed outside his home in Catherine Street, Rochester on April 3 after being hit by a bus.
