If you spot a rough sleeper, let them know there is a warm indoor place for them to stay tonight.

With the temperature barely above freezing, Medway Council is providing emergency accommodation for those on the streets.

People living on the streets are being given a warm place to sleep tonight

The authority, charities and other agencies are working together to advise rough sleepers there is a place for them to stay.

If you see someone who may need shelter, tell them to head to Kingsley House, in Balmoral Road, Gillingham, before 5.15pm today.

Those who are unable to get to the house during the day will still be provided with emergency accommodation through the council's out of hours homelessness service.
