Teen arrested on suspicion of Gillingham park attempted murder

A teenage boy has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a "stabbing" in Gillingham.

The 17-year-old from London was arrested yesterday after the alleged attack at Prince Arthur Park on Wednesday.

It comes after another 17-year-old boy was found in the High Street suffering from serious injuries.

Mill Road park today

As part of the initial investigation officers closed the park between Medway Street and Mill Road.

They are treating the assault as an isolated incident.

The teenager has been bailed until Monday, September 19, while police continue their enquiries.
