Gillingham youngsters march on in Cup

A GOAL seven minutes from the end of extra time earned Gillingham a dramatic 1-0 win over Watford in the fourth round of the FA Youth Cup.

Centre half Luke Howell headed home an Ashley Dumas free kick to score the only goal of the game and earn the Gills a fifth round trip to either Blackburn or West Brom.

Gillingham, who beat Liverpool 1-0 at Anfield in the third round, were cheered on by 1,600 fans at Priestfield as they booked their place in the last 16.
