Young girl sees off robber in Crown Road, Gillingham

A would-be robber ran off when a girl kicked him in the shin.

Now police are appealing for information following the incident in Gillingham.

The man, who is said to be in his 30s, approached the girl, who police say is older than 10, in Crown Street at 3.35pm on Wednesday, November 25.

He then attempted to grab a case she was carrying, but the youngster fought back and kicked him.

The suspect, who is tall with dark skin and was wearing dark green trousers, ran off in the direction of Saunders Street.
