About 90 properties on the Hoo Peninsula have been without power for more than 13 hours.

The blackout has been caused by an underground fault in an electricity cable in the ME3 postcode area.

A spokesman for UK Power Networks said workers are on the scene fixing the problem.

Hopefully the power, which went off at around 9.20pm last night, should be back on at about noon.
