Hundreds of people are expected to descend on Rochester Cathederal this afternoon to say farewell to the Bishop of Rochester.
The Right Reverend Michael Nazir-Ali announced his retirement earlier this year.
Bishop Nazir-Ali became the first non-white diocesan bishop in the Church of England when he was appointed in 1994.

Around 700 people will turn up to the service later.
