More than 200 people turned out to say goodbye to motorcyclist Colin Morrish, who was killed in Italy last month.

Mr Morrish, 62, from Rochester, was killed on a touring holiday in a crash that also took the lives of his partner Wendy Pointer, from Rochester, and friend Michael Vercoe, from West Kingsdown. Michael’s wife Faye was also seriously injured in the accident.

Colin’s funeral cortege left his shop, CM Motorcycles, in Rochester, at 12.30pm today, Tuesday. In a fitting send off, the hearse was followed by a convoy of Colin’s friends on their motorbikes.

During the service, mourners paid tribute to a “great friend, who was “kind, generous and had a great sense of humour”.
